POI Visio / XDGF - Codebase IP Clearance

POI Visio Codebase Intellectual Property (IP) Clearance Status


POI Visio (poi-visio) is an extension module for Apache POI. It adds support for the Microsoft Visio .vsdx xml-based file format. (Current Apache POI Visio support only handled the older binary .vsd format). Post-import, the component will be known as XDGF.

Module will be renamed from Visio to XDGF, following the X##F format in the normal POI manner, to avoid using a Microsoft trademark in the component name

2015-08-19 Check and make sure that the papers that transfer rights to the ASF been received. It is only necessary to transfer rights for the package, the core code, and any new code produced by the project. Software Grant received as part of a CCLA on 2015/08/14

Generally, the result of checking off these items will be a Software Grant, CLA, and Corporate CLA for ASF licensed code, which must have no dependencies upon items whose licenses that are incompatible with the Apache License.
